Forget love… I’d rather fall in chocolate!

In my last post, I promised this one would be fully dedicated to the museum of chocolate in Antwerp, called (prophetically) Chocolate Nation. This is the second chocolate museum I’ve visited so far, the first one being in Graz (Austria) back in 2019. We can absolutely make a comparison between the two, but in all honesty – WHY COMPARE CHOCOLATE?! (Also, please wait for me to go to Graz again, just to refresh my memory.)
What you need to know about Chocolate Nation is that it’s a must-visit landmark of Antwerp, the largest worldwide port for the trade of diamonds… And chocolate! Whether you are a museum-goer or not, Chocolate Nation will be the place of your rebirth. You will see and feel so many chocolaty and creamy sensations in your body and mind, the experience will simply be otherworldly.
The entrance
Now, I can tell you all about it. But why waste words – let me SHOW you what Chocolate Nation is made of. This post does not have to consist of words. Rather, the read can be short, but very sweet. Instead, please enjoy the picturesque sceneries from the home of the sweetest taboo.
Levitating chocolate everywhere
Before you fall into thinking of whether you’re looking at hand-made objects or holograms, remember one thing – it does not matter. Just let go to the sensation, and let it take you afloat the seas of sweet.
How it’s made
Right here, you can learn about the whole process of making chocolate – from planting cocoa, all the way to distribution to local supermarkets. But whether you like chocolate or (God prevent) not, you’ll barely be able to fight the temptation of watching and swallowing all the eye candy.
Playground for grown-ups
How about we pretend to talk on the phone? Or play with the cash register? Or feel the essence of selling chocolate back in the 19th century? Whatever you choose to go for, just remember to have fun!

We all know white, milk and dark. But how many of you have heard of pink chocolate? The chocolatiers of Belgium were happy to hear about this discovery, even 80 years after the last innovation in the chocolate industry before it. But how much innovation does chocolate really need?
