Thank you for reporting about Chisinau.
Since 2010 I come almost every year once or twice to this country an I love it. Also this october I will travel there and staying in Serheis room.
But nevertheless I must tell you, that Chisinau is not Moldowa. In this city you see the cream of moldowans going to other european countries, bringing a lot of money and their live style here.
If you travel to the country side you will find the true Moldowa, it is quite different (see reports about it in the internet) – it is wild, rural, old fashioned, simple and full of heart.
But you have to hurry up, because Europe since a time is in a process of capturing this origin country and making a tourist attraction our of it.

– Inspired by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s classic, this small yet touching monument is a tribute to the timeless tale of love and adventure.
– A tiny floating house on the lake, built for ducks but believed to bring good fortune to those who stop and admire it. (Sad to see someone left trash on it.)
– Climbing the grand Cascade Stairs is a fun workout, but the real reward is reaching the beautiful Rotonda at the top, offering a stunning view of the entire area. At the bottom of the stairs, a charming statue of two children and a dog captures a playful moment, adding warmth and character to the already picturesque surroundings.
– A lush botanical garden perfect for quiet walks.
– A smaller but equally charming space to take in the local atmosphere.
– A must-see for history buffs.
– A stunning building filled with artistic masterpieces.
– A cultural and scientific journey through Moldova’s past and traditions.
– Built in the 19th century to celebrate the Russian Empire’s victory over the Ottoman Empire, this arch stands as a proud symbol of history.
– A tribute to one of Moldova’s greatest rulers, Stefan cel Mare, whose influence shaped the nation’s history.
– The city’s main artery, lined with shops, cafés, and vibrant city life.
